The legendary band Fleetwood Mac formed in London in 1967. Originally led by the rock and roll hall of famer Peter Green in the 1960s with Brixton born Danny Kirwan on guitar, 1969 saw them top the European charts with their hit single Albatross. Their self titled blues rock album debut Fleetwood Mac hit number 4 in the UK album charts and paved the way for their rise to fame. In the 1970s John McVie’s wife Christine joined the band as Fleetwood Mac continued their hit success with pop centric rock albums “Future Games” and “Bare Trees”. Mick Fleetwood on drums, John McVie on bass, Lindsey Buckingham on keyboard and Stevie Nicks setting the vocals which would make her become known as the queen of rock and roll. 1975 saw the blues rockers take their greatest step in mainstream success through their tenth and second self titled album “Fleetwood Mac” (also known as ‘The White Album’). Their highly dramatic eleventh album, Rumours received the pinnacle of their critical acclaim due to its mixture of harmonious vocals and high production quality.
